Hi, I’m Tania the heart and hands behind The Table by Tania.

This is my way of sharing a lifelong love of food. With a passion for World flavours, I am always on the hunt for unexpected combinations to create bespoke culinary experiences for you. What started as a personal passion has grown into private dining, supper clubs, pop-ups, and retreats — spaces where I get to create exemplary menus and share my passion for food. Each event is unique and our menu ideas display fresh flavours using the local produce, taking inspiration from global cuisine. For me, food is never just about eating; it’s about connection, memory, and joy — and I’m so excited to share that with you.

Tania turned up with her member of staff and together they took a very basic tour around the kitchen before making it their own. For nearly 2 hours, the pair worked in tandem to produce three outstanding courses entirely based off a menu that we discussed prior to the event. Their skills around a Turkish and Greek style menu meant that all eight of us were in awe. They even decorated the table and laid it for us prior to presenting every dish before it was served including a phenomenal mezze platter. The key here is to understand that tania is already a very good Chef and for that reason the novelty of catering at home is just added extra. You received a very high calibre Chef doing fantastic work in your home. Communication was excellent throughout with the menu shared prior to the event and tweaked to suit our tastes. Both Tania and the second member of staff were incredibly friendly and a delight to have at our home. We would definitely recommend tablebytania and would certainly use their services again.

I hired Tania for a private dining experience to mark a long-overdue University of Cambridge reunion based of a recommendation from a friend. She curated a stunning floating canapé menu that drew on global flavours while staying rooted in the very best of the season's produce. There were delicate Southeast Asian-inspired bites alongside beautifully executed Mediterranean flavours that felt considered, balanced, and deeply sophisticated. Nothing was predictable, yet everything felt cohesive. My batchmates are well-travelled, but the food was the talking point of the entire evening. Several guests asked for her details before the night was out. If you're looking for a private chef who brings genuine culinary artistry, warmth, and impeccable attention to detail to your event, I cannot recommend Tania highly enough.
